Volunteer

We appreciate our volunteers and all of the hard work they put in to helping our dogs and our cause — and we always need more hands on deck! Common tasks for volunteers can include everything from Shelter clean-up, building and property maintenance, emergency vet transportation, donation pickup, and helping us with events/fundraisers.

Seasoned volunteers also help us complete adoptions, rescue dogs off the street, work with dog socializing, and maintain our online presence.

Want to volunteer? Come meet us at one of our volunteer days! We confirm them weekly on our social media with a post, but usually they are every Sunday 11am-3pm at our shelter- 9188 Burnette St Detroit MI 48204
