Surrendering Your Dog

In some cases, separation of a dog and its owner may be the only option or be the safest choice for the dog. If you are considering surrendering your dog, please review our Pet Retention Resources.

If you still feel unable to keep your pet for whatever reason, we may be able accept it as a surrender, or connect you with somewhere you can. If you need to surrender a pet other than a dog, we will help find placement for it at an applicable rescue.
